What is Youthology?

Youthology, the study of teen trends, takes a closer look at what is happening with our nation's youth and connects families with current resources and information.  The challenges of being an adolescent have been discussed and documented for decades, but with the ever-changing teen trends and increasing influences that youth are exposed to in today's world, the need for parent education and teen connection is greatly in demand.

Many of today's youth simply don't feel understood and want someone to confide in about their experiences.  Teens' worlds are quickly changing, and learning to adapt can be stressful, challenging, and overwhelming without  encouragement and guidance.  Youthologists assist teens in living happier, healthier, more balanced lives using self-set goals and priorities.    In other words, teens are able to exercise their voices and express their 'authentic self' without judgment or pressure.

As a Youthologist, Wendy helps her clients identify their goals, priorities, stress triggers, and areas of desired change to achieve a well-balanced life by offering a positive and supportive environment for communication.
Wendy assists and equips clients with necessary life skills to improve their personal relationships with others while deepening their understanding of themselves as a unique individual.

Wendy also counsels parents and adults hoping to create closer connections with teens.
